		<description>By the time the guy is at condition number 3, there really isn&#039;t much more positive in the slave&#039;s life from no. 3 to no. 9.  In fact it could be worse.  The master in no. 3 is specified as nice.  It is not clear that the rules nor the size the the pie the 10,000 peers want will be as &quot;nice&quot; as the master was in no. 3.

And to Nozick&#039;s question:  it never became NOT the tale of a slave.  The folks in nos. 8 and 9 are still slaves, just to a different &quot;master.&quot;  Majoritarian democracy can be good, or not, but there is no inherent reason that it will be better for the slave than the situation in no. 3; the slavery will merely be less explicit; i.e., more hidden.</description>
